Detecting hack type ?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if somebody could help me figure out , what kind of hack do i have ?

My xbox 360 is slim , trinity , released near 2011

I was cleaning it from dust and revealed that on chip is written corona . Also i always thought that i had rgh1 and last time updated kernel to 17502 in xebuild.gui i chose rgh1 , but dashlaunch is showing rgh2 .
And the most interesting thing is that everything is working perfect , but i would like to be sure .

P.S. First time i updated kernel without xebuild gui ( i used only windows cmd )

I was also confused about that but XeBuild detect automatically which type of RGH you have.

In my case it also told me something about Freeboot RGH1 but this is normal since the Trinity are working with RGH1 but build like RGH2.

You can build either RGH 1.0 or 2.0 for trinity, they're the same on that motherboard :)

Your chip is a TX Coolrunner Rev.D

You only need to redo the Avatar data if you swap kernel versions

Also should note that the coolrunner rev D is not actually a TX chip, but a clone. :(

Thanks, yeah i forgot to mention that =)

It's a Corona v1 with a very poorly done install using a QSB and a Team Xecuter CoolRunner Rev C, The QSB also have the required Crystal on it to make the chip work on corona
