fulltimehustler 36 Posted December 1, 2015 so i just totally fucked up. doing too much at once. i directed the "fakeanim xex" to where my dash goes. I deleted my bootanim, well copied it to a flash drive. i also backed up my nand. but i dont know what to do. its stuck in a loop with fakeanim. i can get it to nxe dash and launch xexmenu. it shows it for 1 sec then loads fakeanim again. am i screwed? how do i restore my nand? Swizzy 2083 Posted December 2, 2015 Put a empty launch.ini on your USB and it'll override the setting you've got there... You should read the instructions for fakeanim, you don't put it as "default=", you put it with the fakeanim option... it's only run ONCE... fakeanim exits when it's done playing the video etc... so, it'll start back up again if set to default as that's what you're telling dashlaunch to do... fulltimehustler 36 Posted December 2, 2015 thx for the quick reply. i freaked out! wasnt paying enough attn to detail. it was super easy second time around. took me 2 hours to finally do what u said basically. i was trying to load fsdinstaller or xexmenu from usb. the launch file mustve been why it worked. i just booted xexmenu from nxe and went right to dashlaunch and fixed it. then i made sure i configured it right away. came back here to get the actual animboot i want to use. i knew i fucked up when i seen all of the anim's at once and they kept playing haha!. thread can be closed! well maybe someone else might get in same situation, if theyre not being smart.
