T0x1cHax0rz 0 Posted July 31, 2015 Rename bug: When you rename a file in the file manager and you change one lowercase letter to upper or vice versa, it tells you the name is the same and leaves it lowercase. I changed a directory named trainers to Trainers in game root and it said they were the same, i had to delete the s, save it, then add the s along with a capital T to get it to register the change. Trainer suggestion: Some trainers have two files you place in root, such as trainer.xex and launcher.xex. A suggestion would be to possibly add support for these types of trainers that have more than one file. From what it looks like ill have to load the launcher in aurora as a trainer and keep the trainer.xex in game root Trainer Support: i tried placing my trainers in game root within a directory called Trainers (directory at the same level as default.xex) rebooted dash and aurora doesnt appear to be detecting the trainers. Tried: game root > Trainers > trainer.xex, didn't seem to work. Will try: Aurora > Trainers > title ID > trainers.xex Other suggestions: Another suggestion is a media center for movies and other video content. many routers dont support UPNP (which is crazy), perhaps find a way around this like xbox live does? Is it even possible? What are some good routers that support UPNP? Thanks to the dev team for developing Aurora and making it awesome! You guys are the reason xbox 360 Is still awesome, and will continue to be awesome into the far future. You guys are awesome. I wrote this entire post on an iPhone so i hope it's not too bad. This is NOT a bug, the FileSystem consider A and a to be the same... we're not talking Linux, we're talking Windows based systems here... you have to do the same thing in windows if you want to rename it with just changing the case of one character... Trainer suggestion: Some trainers have two files you place in root, such as trainer.xex and launcher.xex. A suggestion would be to possibly add support for these types of trainers that have more than one file. From what it looks like ill have to load the launcher in aurora as a trainer and keep the trainer.xex in game root We're NOT adding support for old trainers, if you want to use Aurora trainers, get the real deal... don't go for the old ones... Trainer Support: i tried placing my trainers in game root within a directory called Trainers (directory at the same level as default.xex) rebooted dash and aurora doesnt appear to be detecting the trainers. Tried: game root > Trainers > trainer.xex, didn't seem to work. Will try: Aurora > Trainers > title ID > trainers.xex Are you using Aurora specific trainers? based on your previous comments i'd assume no... Other suggestions: Another suggestion is a media center for movies and other video content. This will NOT be part of Aurora... there may be one coming eventually... who knows? many routers dont support UPNP (which is crazy), perhaps find a way around this like xbox live does? Is it even possible? What are some good routers that support UPNP? Well, Xbox Live don't run the same way... with Xbox Live you're simply connecting to ready made servers, with LiNK YOU are hosting the server... that's when the ports needs to be opened... If I remember correctly, didn't Gavin say something awhile ago about NOVA being brought down from the Transport layer to the Data Link Layer so that some of these issues won't be issues anymore? Yep, that's true, but you will still have to open ports won't you?
