Best way to rip Game-DVDs to PC

Recommended Posts

I'm a bit confused about all the different programs...

I use Aurora 0.5b and I have an internal 500GB HDD.

I'm searching for the best way to get

1. my original Game-DVDs on my Windows-PC (as ISOs, I think...?)

and

2. these games from my PC to my XBox, using a 32GB flashdrive.

Which programs should I use?

You should be able to use xbox backup creator, but i think it would be a lot easier to just extract right on the 360 unless something is wrong with your dvd drive. For that, just insert the disc in your xbox, press the back button in Aurora and choose file manager. Then select the disc in the first tab and copy it, select your games folder location in the second tab and paste it. Much Easier than moving files around from your PC to xbox.

easiest way without buying extra stuff.. extract to your hdd/USB.. take the extracted version, and run through 360mpGui->Create Iso...

Maybe i'm misreading, but I thought the end result was to get the games onto the xbox here, lolz. In which case there's no need for the PC/PC apps or an ISO.

i think he was more of asking how to rip games to iso.. which, without the proper hardware.. is limited.. so i gave him the route to do it.. lolz.. without spending more $$

Easiest way to rip a game is just put it in your RGH and copy it to your hard drive in its own folder then direct aurora to scan it.

That still wouldn't create a fully valid ISO (it'd lack several important parts such as the stealth data and/or AP25 stuff

The only way you can copy/rip original Xbox 360 games is by using a 0800 flashed 360 drive with Xbox Backup Creator, it can give you the game data and/or an ISO
