QuattroGam3r 508 Posted June 19, 2015 F3 does not connect to Unity anymore. Unity was changed to connect solely with Aurora.
gavin_darkglider 1562 Posted June 19, 2015 I am not so sure about that, when things migrated from jqe360, to xbox unity, it still worked, but it might have something to do with the schema update that jqe applied to the server a couple months back, that also took down RMS, and Link. Havnt used FSD since they added a file manager to aurora though.
QuattroGam3r 508 Posted June 19, 2015 Could be, that was just my understanding. I had trouble getting FSD to pull covers TU's since Aurora v0.2B, and thought I had heard that Unity changed from http to Xhttp. If i'm wrong, then sorry for misleading anyone. F3 no longer connects to unity for title updates.. just tested again.. this apparently is a new thing?? that FSD is no longer supported?? just hasn't been confirmed by higher ups? Xhttp is a dashlaunch setting.. lolz.. im pretty sure FSD is no longer supported as i just tested after our game ;-p
Swizzy 2083 Posted June 19, 2015 F3 does not connect to Unity anymore. Unity was changed to connect solely with Aurora. I think it's most likely just that JQE360.com isn't forwarding to xboxunity the same way anymore...

QuattroGam3r 508 Posted June 19, 2015 Aurora have a similar file manager like FSD? (to copy easy games for USB to HDD and to play games on disc) Yes, similar file manager, It doesn't have the same disc copy function, but you can still go to the file manager and copy the disc contents manually to your games folder. How to install Aurora 0.5 on 360? Same as FSD, just take the install files and put them wherever you want (i prefer root of hdd). Then make sure you change the path in launch.ini to set Aurora as default instead of FSD.
Renan Augusto 0 Posted June 19, 2015 I use the Aurora and yet the TU'S not appear to me, I have done the setting in dashlaunch in xttp, but still does not show the TU'S or when errors appear appears to lower them (sorry for my bad English is that I am Brazilian)

Swizzy 2083 Posted June 19, 2015 Sorry but my xbox was modded by a guy . I don't know how to install Aurora and FSD. It's easy, download the files, put them on your Harddrive same as you do with a game, voila! it's installed... From there, you might want to read up on how to configure dashlaunch to start Aurora directly...

guily6669 12 Posted July 5, 2015 That suck... Aurora is like a crapped down version of FSD with all features removed and now they make us finally to have to go with Aurora. I won't ever use Aurora, Why did you even do it, grrrr... Can't someone please mod FSD to accept the new XboxUnity connection + API?

Aurora doesn't have "all features removed", lot's of the FSD features are also part of Aurora, Aurora also have NEW features that FSD didn't have, Aurora also supports ALOT more games (meaning, a much much bigger collection of games) You can still also use FSD, just... it doesn't work with all the online services anymore... there is no support for FSD anymore, you can still use it for everyday life, but... it won't have all the features working...
