gavin_darkglider 1562 Posted April 30, 2015 I think he is trying to change the text from Freestyle Home, to Aurora Home, which if I am not mistaken, would be stored in the plugin.xex, and not in the xur files, and good luck with that, as there is no guarantee that you will find 1 line of text in a binary file, especially if it changes with every locale the xbox can use. gavin_darkglider 1562 Posted April 30, 2015 I wouldnt expect you to just be able to find it in the plugin, I am fairly certain that when stuff is compiled for the xbox, the compiler encrypts it, and then when it is loaded the xbox decrypts it, to stop people from disassembling the code, and rewriting the game engines. I could be completly wrong about this, but I do know for a fact that when microsoft releases games, they are signed with a special key, and that is a form of encryption all in its self, if it wasnt, we wouldnt need jtag/rgh, as people would just pull the key, and sign all of the xex's themselves.
