burak 1 Posted December 12, 2014 1. You can hold a button to hide it so you see the entire background, otherwise you can make a custom skin that have lower opacity for that scene background... I was trying to figure out which button should I hold to show background art. Nothing works for me... Any advice?

How can i make changes so that it will effect all other profiles as well?
saywaking 289 Posted December 13, 2014 Thats a fine feature. You have to set all settings for other profiles too. So we have profile specific settings. Save button is gone i guess
naxil 1 Posted December 14, 2014 why xbox not have a cover folder like wii?
Swizzy 2084 Posted December 14, 2014 why xbox not have a cover folder like wii? Because wii was made by a different set of developers thom think in a different way, and... here we use a different format for each dashboard... Also, wii pretty much only have 2 storage devices (SD and USB) while on the 360 we have several; Hdd, USB, USBMU, MMCMu, SfcMu, IntMu, MU just to name some... there's also support for multiple USB/USBMU and MU... so... there's plenty more places to search for... In Aurora we aim for performance more then ease of use with covers (therefor it uses pretty much a memory blob of the cover data rather then a picture of it, making it so much faster to load)

Swizzy 2084 Posted December 14, 2014 1) how to remove the game from the screen, after removal from the HDD? 2) when the network will be 100MB and working groups to quickly download games? 1) Remove the scanpath or hide disabled... (it's a filter)2) what do you mean? The ftp runs at near fullspeed at all times (around 9-11MB/s at all times which is near 100Mbit/s which is max for the hardware...) Also after removing the game from HDD you can go to Game Details, go down to Rename and move left twice to reach the Delete function, then delete it.

Swizzy 2084 Posted December 14, 2014 How can I modify the skin? Extract the skin with XZPTool or xuipkg, then edit the xur files with xuitool (part of the XDK as is xuipkg) or just replace the images (less of a mod which have very little impact really)

Hainswof 0 Posted December 14, 2014 Thank you for all your work so far. Amazing dash! 0.4a - one thing I have noticed is it does NOT sync the time with an NTP when booting Aurora via the Wireless. I have to go into FSD first and then boot Aurora. Is this able to be address in order to avoid those extra steps? Thanks guys.

beginner 20 Posted December 15, 2014 xuitool unable to open .xui( Do i need convert .xui to .xur? I downloaded xuitool without installer from this forum. May be that reason. I faced the same problem. No need for any other software. The first time you open XUITool, the first dialog asks for the skin XUI, which should be "Aurora-Skin.xui". If you don't have it, create one by saving the following code as "skin.xui" then choose it when you open XUI Tool. <XuiCanvas version="000c"> <Properties> </Properties> </XuiCanvas> Hope that works with you.
