XBDM one red ring error. HELP!

Recommended Posts

Till a few days back I copied xbdm onto my Jtag and Neighborhood on my laptop and everything worked just fine but after I installed a new HDD and updated my dashboard to 16756 when I copy paste the xbdm file onto my HDD and set plugin path on dashlaunch my Xbox switches to a single red ring of death on startup.

At first I though my HDD was broken but after I formatted it, it worked perfectly without xbdm on my Xbox. So as a test I copied xbdm onto a usb stick and set the plugin path on dashlaunch to it and restarted my console. Same problem. ONE RED RING! I take it out and my xbox boots up properly to FSD. I downloaded xbdm from different sources and tried it out, same problem. I have NO clue what the hell is going on specially when initially it was working perfectly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using a Phat Arcade 360 which has the Jasper motherboard.

I am on 16756 dashboard which I updated using Xebuild and Simple Nand Flasher.

hi,is a problem with dashlaunch that freeze your console!connect your hdd to pc,use a program like partybuffalo or fatxplorer to delete xbmd.xex, put it into console and start dashlaunch and disable "safereboot(don't use with JTAG,etc",that copy xbmd.xex again and set on plugin's path and works!sorry for english :D

Basically, update to 16747 which is the last officially supported dashboard for Dashlaunch and xeBuild... also, it's useful to know what the secondary error code tells you, it's the same as checking your RROD codes... (you should get an E code on screen aswell tho!)
