i think u r asking abt external  hdd,,,

 

you need to download EaseUS Partition Master 10.0 app for ur pc 

andthen format your hardrive for fat32

As long as you can connect your hdd to the console you can format it using the built-in formatting tool... (go to the memory menu and select format)
