How to rip a XGD3 game

How to rip a XGD3 game.

First off before you can even think about ripping a XGD3 title you need to make sure you have a working drive that CAN do the job. You will need either a BenQ or a Lite-On flashed with iXtreme 0800 v3.

Let's verify you have everything setup before we go any futher.

Open up your My Computer and find your drive, right click the drive and hit properties. Verify that you see your BenQ or Lite-On, in my example below I'm using a Lite-On.

You can not rip these games using Kreon or old Sammy/Hitachi drives.

Next, we need to install ImgBurn for Xbox Backup Creator to work otherwise you will get what's seen below.

That's no good, let's install ImgBurn (Skip this if you already have)

Match the screenshots, (Edit here if needed)

Enable SPTI access and uncheck the ask toolbar (unless you want it lol)

Once that's finished we need to get the most up to date dae.bin file. DOWNLOAD: here

The dae.bin needs to be in the same directory as the Xbox Backup Creator. (XBC)

WITHOUT anything in your backup drive go ahead and fire up XBC. You will need to be on version 2.9 build 0345 or higher.

Notice that it sees ImgBurn and our 0800 drive.

Insert you game you wish to make a backup of and from the top of XBC make sure you pick your 0800 drive.

Once you see the text above your dae.bin has been loaded and the game has been recognized as inserted.

Go ahead and hit start.

Not even sure why I'm including this but obviously when you see the Read completed message you're done.
