  1. I have a TB FAT32 USB that I use for 360 and PS3. I can keep the USB plugged in and just keep saves, profiles, and various compatibility packs (like Destiny) on the HDD, so that way, when I boot to the retail side, NXE can't see all the RGH stuff on the FAT32 stuff so it doesn't get confused with corrupted games or warrant a ban on XBL. At least, that's what I hope is happening with my setup. Are there any holes in my logic? If the drive shows up in the retail side, am I safe to use it?
  2. I found a Fujitsu 120GB HDD that (I think) was in an Xbox at one point. I was able to throw it into my DemoN slim and format it for internal storage on the RGH side, but I don't know if it's safe on the retail side. Does formatting the HDD on the RGH side add the security sector to the drive? Or will I still need to flash that using HDD Hackr so as not to get banned for using a "modified" HDD?
  3. Formatting as a System Drive worked. The only way to get the option to show up was to flash a new glitch image with the nointmu patch, though. With the OnBoardMU disabled, the option showed up, I formatted a 4GB USB as a System Drive, then flashed the old image without the flag back to the console. Now, the OnBoardMU is enabled again, but I can store TUs in USBMUCache0 and they apply correctly. At some point in the future I will try to configure the USB I'm using to store my games as a System Drive and continue to store RGH content on Usb0 while TUs go on USBMUCache0. It looks like Aurora can see the rest of the FAT32 partition on the drive, where the stock dash will only be able to see USBMU0. That way I can get back to using a single USB to store both games and TUs, instead of having one USB for games and one for TUs. That should work, right?
  4. I didn't know there was a "system drive" option, I thought you were referring to just configuring it as an Xbox 360 MU. I will give this a try
  5. Formatting a second USB didn't work. I found this thread while googling around, which seems to be exactly what I'm having problems with. I don't see a USBMUCache0 anywhere, though. Is this storage device not available on all mobos?
  6. TID: 4D53085B MID: 566C10D3 I've tested some other games and it seems like any game that stores its TUs in OnBoardMU:\Cache can't apply them, whereas a game that stored them in the Content folder was able to apply the TU (Borderlands 2). I don't know if that's helpful or just a coincidence. I can try some other games. EDIT: I tested some games and found this to be true. Halo: Reach, Brütal Legend, and Saint's Row: The Third all needed TUs in \Cache and were unable to load the TUs, where Injustice: Gods Among Us and Borderlands 2 were able to load the TUs that were kept in the \Content\0000... folder
  7. I deleted the TU out of Usb0:\Cache, made sure it was deleted in Aurora, rebooted, then copied to OnBoardMU:\Cache, scanned for TUs, enabled, then started the game and I still get TU: 0. I do not have an internal HDD at the moment. Surely they should be able to work from the on board MU, though, right?
  8. I was downloading the TU over Wi-Fi, but I just downloaded it on my desktop and copied to Usb0:\Cache\TU_16L622R_0000004000000.0000000000081 with no luck. Aurora picks it up after a scan and I can enable it, but when I launch the game I still have TU: 0. There isn't anything in OnBoardMU:\Cache and this TU is the only TU in Usb0:\Cache. Is there anything else I could try to get it working?
  9. Hi guys, I downloaded a TU through Aurora for Halo: Reach and I can enable it, but when I'm in game and press the guide button I see that it isn't applied (TU: 0). I've tried clearing TUs using the button in settings, deleting and re-downloading the TU, and toggling contpatch. The game is in GoD format, fwiw, and I've saved the TU to the internal MU. Is it possible Unity is grabbing me a TU for the wrong base version? Thanks
  10. Do you have a link to your tool? It sounds very useful
  11. I pulled GODs off my brother's retail Xbox and wasn't able to convert them. I googled around and it looked like other people were having the same problem. After some more searching, I found this thread where someone suggested converting to ISO and then extracting. That was the only way I could get the games to work.
  12. xm360 doesn't unlock GODs, only DLC
  13. Unloading the FSD plugin worked! Thanks very much
  14. The only option under the dashlaunch plugin is XHttp. I can disable it in dashlaunch, but XHttp stays checked in Aurora's dashlaunch plugin, and I still can't see my brother's console. What patches did you have in mind? The only patches I have enabled under Network are: signnotice liveblock xhttp (tried with this disabled too) nonetstore Thanks Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
  15. Hi all. I've managed to get system link to work with my RGH console and my brother's retail Xbox while playing Halo Reach, Borderlands, and CoD:BO 2 Zombies, but we can't get Gears of War 2 to work. I copied the game and title updates off of his system and converted to extracted format using GOD2ISO and Xbox Image Browser. I enabled the title update in Aurora and I disabled LiNK in the FSD plugin. pingpatch is disabled in dashlaunch and I have avatar/Kinect data installed. Is there anything else I could have enabled that would let me play the other three games but not GoW2? Thanks

    RGLoader for 17502

Alright, I will keep my eyes peeled for a 17502 leak in the mean time. Thanks!

    RGLoader for 17502

I do understand and respect that. I wasn't trying to minimize or belittle the awesome gesture of leaking high profile files such as those. My question was more about whether or not I could build a 17502 RGBuild NAND with the files and patches available already, or if there is something missing that would require a public release of 17502 filesystems. I was also curious to see if anyone could offer any feedback on re-building RGBuild.exe and to see if I am missing anything crucial.
  18. Hi all, So from what I can see, tydye81 is the only one left working on RGLoader right now, and is a very busy individual. In his most recent README: He encourages people to decompile RGBuild and build it again with support for new kernels and that it should be a relatively simple process. I was able to use ILSpy (a .NET reflector) to decompile the C# code for both RGBuild.exe and RGBuildLauncher.exe, edit it to fix some small compile-time errors generated most likely by ILSpy, and run the program in Visual Studio. After I got that working, I could only find dash/kernel versions hard coded into the program as the check boxes in RGBuildLauncher.exe. I assumed from this that RGBuildLauncher.exe just generates good arguments for RGBuild.exe based on what you put into RGBuildLauncher.exe, so all I did was add a checkbox for 17502. I was able to find the SE.17489.bin image on the forums [1] [2] and have found a recommendation from a user that has RGBuild working on 17502 to use the same files from the 17489 filesystems to build the 17502 image and to spoof the kernel [1]. If spoofing doesn't work, (it looks like it didn't work for this guy) I will need an SE.17502.bin from a devkit, and nothing really shows up for me when searching for that. So, at this point, do we just need to wait for someone to publicly release their 17502 devkit filesystems? Or is there a way we can build a 17502 RGBuilder image with the files available now?
  19. I'll see if I can set up a tunnel on my router. What brand of router do you have and/or are you running dd-wrt? The FTP access from outside isn't meant to be a full blown FTP to be used all the time. I use the linux server for SCP so I don't need another FTP server. I wanted access from the outside for occasions where I need to get something off of my backup drive or my xbox HDD when I am away. My parents are split so it's helpful to be able to ftp saves from xbox to xbox without having to take hardware back and forth. Thanks for all the help
  20. No I have FSD on my 360 and I am trying to connect to the FTP service that it provides. The server that I can connect to from outside of my network is running linux. My understanding of the tunnel I would need to set up is to have my xbox tunnel to the linux server and then I can connect directly from the outside to my xbox via the linux server. I wouldn't know how to set up a tunnel on the xbox because it can only run homebrew. PuTTY wouldn't actually set up a tunnel it would just be what I would use to connect to the FTP once it is set up. Or am I thinking about the tunnel incorrectly?
  21. I would like to access FTP from outside the network because my 360 USB doubles as a backup hard drive for my computer, so having access to it when I am out and about would be nice. I wanted access to HTTP so I could remote power down the system if I am away. Tunneling seems like it would work in a scenario where the server isn't an xbox. I can't seem to find any kind of tunneling homebrew and the only other way I could see tunelling working out from the xbox is if I put something between my xbox and router to tunnel connections. PuTTY and Teamviewer don't apply here because I can not run those on the xbox. Someone suggested looking into a tunneled proxy or iptables, but I have no experience with either.
  22. That makes a lot of sense. I have a server on the same LAN. Do you know of an easy way I can bounce my connection off of it? I can connect to the server with ssh and then to the xbox with ftp but then i would have to manually copy to the server than to the box (or from box to server to outside computer). I would not know how to connect to it with http in a similar fashion to turn it off after I am done accessing it.
  23. I am trying to enable access to HTTP and FTP from outside of my lan. When I am inside my house, using the internal ip works fine, e.g. http://192.168.1.101 or ftp://192.168.1.101. I have forwarded ports 36080 and 36021 to ports 80 and 21 respectively to 192.168.1.101, but can not gain access to the two protocols from my external ip. I have tried switching the external ports to 80 and 21, but that did not work. I tested if the ports were open at ping.eu and the two ports were reported as closed. I do not know of a firewall on the 360 itself and i have the ports forwarded correctly. Is there anything else I would have needed to enable to gain access to HTTP and FTP from the outside?
